Michelle Courier will be the featured artist for October at Golden Gallery and Custom Framing. “I consider myself a realist and impressionistic painter. Bouncing between the two, I love to create visible brush strokes and textures that allow two different ways to enjoy the painting.” (From Michelle’s artist statement.) Michelle will be in the gallery Oct. 7th for the 1st Thursdays Event, so stop in and join the fun!

1st Thursdays is Oct. 7th! It’s going to be a busy night at Do Art Studio & Gallery. Jessica Dufresne-Trombley, Do Art Artist in Training, will be the featured artist. Also on display, will be a touring exhibit from VSA (The International Organization on Arts and Disability). Emerging artists from grade school through adult created the exhibit. Artist Roger Reichmann’s sculptures will be on display at Do-Art Studio and Gallery. Mr. Reichmann uses found objects including antiques and collectibles to create his large sculpture pieces. Also on display will be found object sculptures by the Do-Art Artists in Training.

Start your weekend on Thursday.Come to Downtown Bay City on September 2nd for a night of art, shopping, food and fun. This month there will be antique and collectables vendors, along with a pie baking contest. What a great way to usher in Fall.
