C.A.T.WORKS will host the public opening of CARL THOMAS’S memorial show this Thursday Dec 1st , at the gallery 514 Wash. Ave. 5-9 pm. We also will be featuring the opening of our annex gallery next door , showing the work of many local artists.

There will be no 1st Thursdays during the months of November, December, and January. But there is still plenty to do and see downtown in Bay City. Make sure to come down town and check out all the shops, restaurants, and businesses. Holiday shopping has never been easier, or more convenient!

Made in Michigan: August 4th

1st Thursdays in Downtown Bay City celebrates ‘Made in Michigan’ featuring local art, live music, and great food at a variety of Downtown businesses.

1st Thursdays in Downtown Bay City is a monthly community event featuring art, live music, shopping and dining. The August 4th event features a salsa contest at seven downtown restaurants, a street party on 3rd St., highlighted by a “Doggy Fashion Show” at 6:30 p.m. and a tasting of Arcadia Ales and Tri-City Brewing Company’s best beers at the Golden Gallery and Ward Studio.

The Golden Gallery, Ward Studio and numerous other downtown shops and restaurants are proud to present a multi-disciplinary showing of work and live music.

The event will take place in Downtown Bay City, MI on Thursday, August 4, 2011 from 5-8 p.m. and is proudly sponsored by Chemical Bank and Meadowbrook Insurance.

August’s 1st Thursday This Week!

On August 5th, there will be fun and excitement as we are planning a fashion show with new cars and downtown fashions. We are also closing the street in front of Golden Gallery & Custom Framing for the evening. There will also be classic cars on display, and street magicians. There will be art, culture, cars, food and more! Cruise on down in your own ride and check out all the fun.
